FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONSFAQ

C&A are leading moulding in the South East of the UK, here’s some questions we get asked frequently.

1. What sets you apart from your competitors
If you prefer a more friendly and reliable service, then we should be your first choice. Being a small business, we offer a more friendly and approachable experience for our customers, no matter how big or small your orders may be.
Yes and no! whilst we all know plastic is bad for the environment, what’s worse is the way humans dispose of it, most plastic that ends up in the rivers, oceans and landfill is because we have not disposed of it properly. At C&A we are working hard to produce products that are being made of recycled materials to reduce our carbon footprint and bring a more sustainable future to injection moulding. This is why we have teamed up with gum-drop ltd to make a range of products that use a plastic that derives from recycled chewing gum.

This all depends on the design of the product you want. It can take up to 6 months from start to finish for a more complex design. This is because we want to make sure the product is perfect for you. We have to check the designs of your product are able to be moulded, design the tool itself, send the design off to our tool maker, sample the product, and complete all the relevant testing.

Due to the cost of material and running the machines the minimum order quantity is 2,500. This also means that the price you are paying is lower as well; it is more cost effective to complete a big run of products rather that many short runs.

Yes, of course. We have many years’ experience taking people’s ideas and turning them into reality. Anthony is highly skilled in product and tool design, he will work with you every step of the way to make sure your product can actually be made, and to the highest quality.

We work with well experienced and highly skilled tool makers not far from us. We have been working with them for many years and they
always make our tools to the highest quality.

To make a tool that can be used thousands of times and last many years we used a full hardened steel. The work it takes in cutting the
steel into the design required means our experienced and skilled tool maker has to use expensive equipment and a lot of time to get the tool perfect.

Of course, we offer everything from design to distribution, meaning we can be with you every step of the way. Providing we have all the parts we can assemble your products so they are ready to be sold as soon as they arrive at their destination.

Yes, we can work with you to discuss any packaging you require for your product, as well as the distribution of your product to retailers when required.

Definitely! We use recycled material wherever possible, and our products can most often be ground up and used again, either to make the same product or something else, so there is no wastage.

We work with multiple material suppliers meaning that there is always plenty of options to choose from no matter what material you are working with.

Yes, we would have to make sure the material used to mould your products is suitable but we have had previous products using different scents.
